The ‘collage’ of images are based upon the average farm of over 120 farms in the Schijndel area, for which all photography has been done by me over the last couple of months, an exciting coöperation. The final stages of this large commission are in sight and the building is scheduled to open by the end of 2012.
I'll keep you posted.

It deals with Re-Photography and The Familiar Image among other things, but aware of social and commercial structures in the present. It took me to Benidorm (Spain) and Seoul/Busan (South Korea) for a start.
First results of the former locations are very promising and show further diversification in both approach and presentation, including video and installations. Right now I'm finishing these new works. The project will soon take me to Asia once again, visiting Tokyo/Yokohama for a month this spring.

A selection of recent, first-on-show photoworks in two large spaces of the museum will be accompanied by some new videoworks / installations, which will be a first. This new approach within my Project on Image will add an exciting new chapter to my body of works. Together with the curatorial team of the museum, led by Colin Huizing, we're now in the fase of designing the exhibition, and it's looking very good.
One of the pieces that will definitely be in the show is shown on the right (detail). The exhibition will run until september 2, 2012, and I hope to meet you there!
